John-Paul received his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in 2023. During his time at Osgoode, he was Senior Accessibility Editor for the Osgoode Hall Law Journal, research assistant to Professor Palma Paciocco, and a participant in the Intensive Program in Criminal Law. He subsequently completed his articles at Kapoor Barristers where he assisted counsel with serious trial and appellate matters. Following John-Paul’s call to the bar in 2024, he returned to the firm as an associate.
John-Paul received his Bachelor of Music in violin performance from the University of British Columbia where he was awarded the Wesbrook Scholar designation. He then completed his postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland during which time he performed in the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.
Outside of law, John-Paul is a Toronto ambassador for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and participates in various alpine and ocean-based sports.
