He joins Kapoor Barristers after clerking at the Superior Court of Justice in the Central West Region, where he assisted judges on a range of criminal, civil, and family law matters. Prior to that, he was a summer student at a prominent criminal defence and civil litigation boutique in Toronto.
Jack received his J.D. and B.C.L. at McGill University, where he graduated with the highest standing in the field of human rights. During law school, he assisted many community members with their legal problems as a caseworker at the Legal Information Clinic at McGill and at the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations. He also competed in the Goldwater Dubé Moot on family and constitutional law, where his team’s factum placed first and he won best respondent oralist. Jack holds a B.A. (First-Class Honours) in English literature from McGill University and an M.A. in English literature from Queen’s University.
